Expert Opinions
The Centre for for the Issue of Expert Opinions (Gesellschaft zur Erstellung von Fachgutachten) provides the preparation of expert reports in the following subject areas:
The preparation of expert opinions is provided by Prof. Wolf in the following subjects of Toxicology:
- Medical and toxicological expert opinions: especially concerning the causal relationship between disease and exposure to hazardous materials in cases of occupational diseases
- Expert opinions in Medical Technology: expert reports on the risk assessment of medical products such as respiration devices
- Expert opinions in Food Toxicology: expert reports on the risk assessment of harmful food ingredients such as mykotoxins
- Expert opinions in Environmental Toxicology: expert reports on the risk assessment of indoor emis- sions
- Expert opinions in General Toxicology: expert reports on the risk assessment of harmful contaminants in articles of daily use such as cadmium in children´s toys
- Expert opinions in Drug Toxicology: Toxicological evaluation of active ingredients of drugs and other medications, e.g., in cases of overdosing of drugs
The issue of expert opinions is provided by Prof. Klotz in the following subjects of Microbiology:
- Assessment of health risks caused by microorganisms in natural environment and objects of daily use.
- Assessment of risks for health and environment by manufacturing and application of materials produ- ced by genetic engineering.
Important Note:
The Centre for the Issue of Expert Opinions does not perform any chemical, biochemical or microbiological analyses of their own. If for the preparation of the expert opinions certain analytical data are necessary (eg. for food ingredients, for indoor emissions or for components in articles of daily use), these data have to be provided by certified analytical institutes or similar laboratories. For the selection of such institutions/laboratories, appropriate support can be offered.
